Staying Power: Partners in Health Canada

Saturday, October 1, 2016 @ 6:30pm.

Join the Harvard Club of Toronto on October 1st for PIH Canada's Staying Power: A Celebratory Fundraiser for PIH Canada. This event features delicious food and drink, great company, a silent auction, a cause that rocks, and much, much more. Also featured this evening will be Dr. Joia Mukherjee, associate professor of global health and social medicine at Harvard Medical School.

This will be an inspirational evening you won’t soon forget. Why Staying Power? Because wherever Partners In Health works, we’re there for keeps. Because PIH Canada is celebrating our five-year anniversary and we’re just getting started. Together—with all those who want to build a more just and equitable world—we’ve got the power to do so much more!

We are proud to support this organization, as PIH has numerous Harvard connections.  It was co-founded by Dr. Paul Farmer, professor at Harvard.  A few years ago, HCT hosted an event with Lucie Edwards, Chair of PIH Canada's Board and Kennedy School alumna.  Dr. Hugh Scully is another Harvard alumnus who's also on PIH Canada's board.
