PRIVACY POLICY
USE OF INFORMATION
We use your IP address and files you access to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer our Web site by identifying which parts of our site are most heavily used. We also use this information to tailor site content to user needs, and to generate aggregate statistical reports. At no time do we disclose site usage by individual visitors.
In addition, visitor activity is tracked using Google Analytics. Google Analytics is subject to the privacy policy of Google, Inc., which you can find on Google’s website. These data are used to optimize our website for our visitors, and do not include personally identifiable information such as name, contact information, or credit card numbers.
All personally identifiable information provided by alumni is strictly reserved for use by individual alumni, the Harvard Alumni Association (HAA) and the Harvard Club of Toronto for your personal and University-related purposes only. Personal information is never shared with third parties or made publicly available under any circumstances:
SECURITY
HAA has taken reasonable precautions to secure the personal information available through the online community.
- Areas of www.clubsandsigs.harvard.edu where personal information is displayed or can be entered are password protected to allow access by registered users only. These areas include the online directory, profile update, account management, and registration for some events.
- Users have the option to suppress the information fields in their records that they wish to keep private, which will prevent these fields from being viewed by other community members.
Although these precautions should help to protect any personal information available through www.clubsandsigs.harvard.edu from abuse or outside interference, a certain degree of privacy risk is faced any time information is shared over the Internet.

PAYMENT POLICY
Under the auspices of the Harvard Alumni Association, we have made arrangements for secure online payment through our website. The Harvard Club of Toronto does accept credit card payments, but prefers that you pay online through the secure website provided by CyberSource and Moneris.
Notes: The club is located in Canada. All transactions will be processed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and all payments should be made in Canadian Dollars (CAD).
We also accept payment by cheque. If you'd like to pay by cheque, please email us and we will send you instructions on how to do this.
The Harvard Club of Toronto is a volunteer organization with limited resources. We do not provide refunds for dues, fees or event fees. If you wish to pursue a refund depite this policy, please submit your request by email.
Community Guidelines
The Harvard Club of Toronto (HCT) programs and volunteer opportunities respect the rights, differences, and dignity of others. Those taking part in HCT activities are expected to demonstrate honesty, integrity, and civility in those activities, and are accountable for their conduct there with University alumni, students, parents, volunteers, employees, and invitees.
The Harvard Club of Toronto reserves the right to suspend services to and exclude from participation in HCT programs any person whose inappropriate behavior adversely affects the safety, well-being, and inclusion of community members.
