Join the Harvard Club of Toronto's Brown Bag Lunch Series for a discussion with Joeri van den Steenhoven, Director of the MaRS Solution Lab.

Canada faces tough, complex challenges that can only be solved successfully through innovation and working together. For a strong future for our countrywe need government, the corporate sector, NGOs,charities and academia to collaborat, develop new solutions and change systems. But how can we do that? Around the world social innovation labs are emerging to help make that happen.

Joeri van den Steenhoven is Director of the MaRS Solution Lab, a new social innovation lab in Toronto. Joeri will present the Solution Lab's work including: youth employment, sustainable food systems, health innovation and public sector reform. Joeri was co-founder/CEO of Kennisland, a leading innovation lab in the Netherlands and Europe. He is a strategic advisor to governments and organizations around the world and he speaks and teaches on how to create system change. He also serves on the board of the Lisbon Council, a European think tank on innovation and growth. Joeri participated in the Harvard Business School's Program for Leadership Development, and the Solutions Lab is closely associated with the Harvard Kennedy School.
