Please join the HBS Club of Toronto on the morning of Tuesday, May 6th for a unique and exclusive opportunity to volunteer at one of United Way of Toronto’s member agencies and make a hands-on impact in our community – all part of HBS Serves and Harvard’s Global Month of Service! You can make a difference to at-risk youth or to new immigrants seeking employment by volunteering at one of these United Way agencies:

ACCES Employment
ACCES Employment is a leader in connecting employers with qualified employees from diverse backgrounds.

Volunteer Activity:
Speed Mentoring (HBS alumni only): Speed Mentoring allows a group of new Canadians to meet face-to-face with professionals from their field who can provide valuable tips and advice that supports them in achieving their employment goals.

Location:
489 College St., Suite 100 (College and Bathurst)

Horizons for Youth
Horizons for Youth shelters, prepares, and guides homeless and at-risk youth to be contributing community members.

Volunteer Activity:
Cleaning and tidying shelter space: A hands on activity for volunteers to help clean and tidy high traffic areas at the agency – freeing up staff to focus on program and service delivery for clients. HBS Alumni and guests are welcome.

422 Gilbert Ave.(Eglinton and Caledonia)

Registration
Space is limited to 15 volunteers at Access Employment and 12 volunteers at Horizons for Youth, so please register here as soon as possible.
