Harvard Professor Gives Gairdner Award Lecture in Toronto

The Gairdner Foundation International Award is given annually to three to six people for outstanding discoveries or contributions to medical science. This year, Stephen Elledge, Gregor Mendel Professor of Genetics & Medicine at Harvard Medical School is one of the award recipients.

Dr. Elledge and the other recipients are giving a series of public lectures on Thursday, October 24, from 9:00am - 3:00pm at McLeod Auditorium, University of Toronto.

Dr. Elledge's lecture entitled "DNA Damage Response" is taking place from 10:45-11:20am.

Harvard Club of Toronto members are invited to attend. The lectures are free and open to the public.
