HBS Women Share their Experiences

HBS Club opens Women’s Event to all Women Graduates of Harvard

This year, HBS celebrates the 50th anniversary of women at HBS. To mark this important milestone, the HBS Club of Toronto is pleased to host a thought provoking evening of conversation hosted by our fellow alumnae Nora Aufreiter, Susan Black, Beth Horowitz, and Sarah Kavanagh. We are hoping for active participation from alumnae from all graduating classes and walks of life as we get together to reflect on a range of important topics about the role of women as leaders today, share our own experiences, and inform our individual perspectives.

Our hosts bring a tremendous set of experiences to share. Nora is a Director in the Toronto office of McKinsey and Company. Susan is a diversity advisor and strategist, and was most recently SVP and Chief Human Resources officer at Intact. Beth is an independent director and was President and CEO of American Express Canada. Sarah is a corporate director and a former vice chair of Scotia Capital. Co-hosting the event is Mary Lou Maher, the CFO of KPMG.

Your story will enrich the event further –whether you’ve been out in the working world 5, 10, 20 years or have recently left or re-entered it. We have a number topics we aim to cover, and we hope you will help us tailor the event and make it most relevant to you and your interests. We will be sending out a survey shortly to ask for your topics of interest and to collect thought starters for the conversation, and look forward to your response.

Open to women: alumnae and significant others of HBS alumni. We are keeping the event small to allow for intimate conversation, so please register early.
